If you’ve yet to dine at A La Lucia, we have a suggestion: Request a seat upon the street-facing patio. That way, you’ll be able to enjoy a little people-watching — and the spring breeze! — as you sip a selection from the Italian restaurant’s full bar. You might even pass around a few appetizers with some friends from The Kingsley (be sure to order the crowd-favorite meatballs with polenta!).
Whatever you do, though, don’t fill up too fast. You’ll want to save room for one of A La Lucia’s entrees. Crafted using traditional Italian recipes, entrees span spaghetti with meat sauce to grilled sea scallops with fried zucchini. The menu of entrees isn’t particularly lengthy, but this is the kind of place where quality trumps quantity.
For dessert, regulars recommend the tiramisu and the chocolate gelato.
